Hi, trying to hit a 1:40pm cubs game on sunday July 26th and I have a flight out of midway at 6:40pm. Is this doable--even if I leave a bit early from the game?

How%26#39;s the best way to get to the airport from the field?

It should be doable. Take the Red Line down to Roosevelt and transfer to the Orange Line to Midway there. The trick is to leave before everyone else does so that you aren%26#39;t having to wait to get into the Addison station or you could walk a few blocks north to the Sheridan station and catch the Red Line there.

How much luggage will you have? The Els are extrememly crowded for Cubs game. Both to the game and on the way back. You are going to annoy a lot of people if you have lots of luggage. If you do, leave early to the game and leave early from the game.

I wouldn%26#39;t let annoying other people rule what I do. Everyone is annoyed all the time anyway for a variety of reasons. But I don%26#39;t think you can bring your luggage in Wrigley so you must not have any or it%26#39;s being stored somewhere else. But if you want to be at Midway about 5:30, you should leave Wrigley at 4:30 and you will be fine. The red line will be a bit crowded for a few stops but will empty out once you get to the loop.
