Amalfi and where else?

My plans are finally solidified.

I decided to book the Amalfi for 6 nights because my teenage son will be joining me and he likes the free breakfast idea, got the travel ticker 2 queens at 119.

I have a choice for the remainder days for spg properties:

4 points (my sons favorite)

Sheraton towers-good for the summer?

Westin Michigan Ave seems like a great location or the W lakeshore, good for the summer?

We%26#39;ll be there in July.

Amalfi and where else?

IMO - W Lakeshore is a bit out of the way from a tourist standpoint. Four Points would be my next choice followed by Sheraton.

W Lakeshore is right across from the beach so I would choose that hotel, although because of the fact that it is near the water means it%26#39;s further from the tourist area but only like 4 or 5 blocks. Westin is also closer to the beach but in a different location. The 4 points is ';in the thick of it'; so walk out of your hotel, and you are right in the middle of everything. I personally prefer to be away a bit and closer to the water.

Another Starwood property not on your list that people seem to rave about here is the Westin River North...

I only included the 4 with 10,000 points, the other Westin is 12,000.

I liked the Sheraton for the view from their outdoor lounge area.

I like the 4points in the %26#39;thick of things%26#39;, is the Amalfi similiarly placed?
