I%26#39;ve seen pictures of the tulips on Michigan and wondered if any will be blooming April 4-9th when we%26#39;ll be in Chicago, or is it still too early? Thanks.

April 16 - May 31. You might see the bulbs being planted when you are here, though.
The Lincoln Park Conservatory is currently having the Spring Flower Show and it will still be going until May 13.

May I ask if the tulips are *gone* from May 31st on? I would love to see them, but may not be visiting until early to mid-June. Thanks!
By late May or early June, the tulips will have been replaced by summer plantings. They are usually gorgeous, done by a top notch design firm. Since the plantings are still young in June, you will not get the same effect as in August.
