I%26#39;ve read the website and I know to avoid white and beige. Any other advice on what to wear? I%26#39;ve heard, although I don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s true, that certain people are picked to sit closer based on clothing that looks better on camera.
Also I was told check in was between 8 and 8:30 am, but would it be a good idea to arrive early and get in line?
Thanks in advance!
what to wear for Oprah taping???
Yes nicer dressed people are put up front and sloppy dressed people are not--which makes sense. When the camera shows the audience, they dont want it to look like a sloppy pig convention.
what to wear for Oprah taping???
Also avoid busy/fine prints or checks that will ';vibrate'; on camera.
Years and years ago - and I know I%26#39;m showing my age on this - I went to a taping of the Phil Donohue Show. I remember they said women should avoid very short skirts because sometimes camera angles could ';peak'; in places that the eye normally doesn%26#39;t.
I was at a taping of the Oprah show about 3 years ago. I only saw one woman selected to move up front based on what she was wearing - and, she happened to be wearing white! She was a stunningly beautiful African American woman wearing an impeccible all-white suit. So, if you look really good, they might pick you to sit up front even if you are wearing white! Also, I suspect the contrast between skin tone and clothing color may have something to do with it. If you have darker skin you can get away with lighter colors, and vice versa. You just don%26#39;t want to wear something that will blend together and look ';blah.';
