ISO inexpensive restaurant with outdoor seating.

We will be in the city 5-1 and 5-2 and staying at the Palmer House. I%26#39;m hoping to find a restaurant nearby with nice outdoor seating. I%26#39;d prefer a Tappas style restaurant but ultimately it really doesn%26#39;t matter. We don%26#39;t smoke. We just like to eat outside when the weather is cooperative.

Sears Tower has a nice mexican restaurant with outside seating. It%26#39;s about 5 floors up.

I would not get my hopes up about it being warm enough but you never know. Smoking is practically a class 1 felony in Chicago so you do not have to worry about it. The before mention Park grill is the best outdoor place near your hotel. The best tapas place in the city, Mercat a la Planxa is just down the street and has some outdoor seating. Gage also has a few outdoor tables.

I actually live just outside Chicago in northwest Indiana. Wifey works downtown in the Bloomingdales building so we%26#39;re pretty farmilliar with the city as a whole. We don%26#39;t get downtown much at all in the evenings, especially without the kids in tow. We%26#39;re not so worried about the weather right now. Tomorrow it is SUPPOSED to be in the 70%26#39;s then drop back down to the 40%26#39;s the beginning of next week. Go figure. If the weather cooperates than we%26#39;d like to sit outside. We%26#39;d especially like to be close to the hotel, walking less than a mile or so one way.

I decided on the Webber Grill. Wifey has been there but I haven%26#39;t. Outdoor seating is available but if the weather doesn%26#39;t cooperate than we can easily be seated indoors. We have 7:00 rezzies so now we%26#39;ll have to find a great place to go for dessert / coffee. Maybe back to the hotel??
