My husband will be in Chicago for business and I am flying in early Friday to spend the weekend with him. We want to hit the spot lights of Chicago and enjoy a great pizza and upsacle dinner.
Have heard that the architectural boat tour is a must and head to the Signature Lounge at John Hancock for a drink and view.
Are there any other recomeendations? Best authentic deep dish pizza place for lunch? Dinner? A friend suggested Carnivale.
I think we will be staying near the Magnificent Mile district.
Thanks!!
What should we do May 29-31, couple mid 20's ?
Please do a search for pizza on this forum. The topic%26#39;s been covered quite extensively. All are good.
www.chicagoreader.com has a good dining search tool. You can read reviews and search by area, budget cuisine etc. Also check www.explorechicago.org for ideas.

Dave148 makes excellent suggestions. In addition to, or in place of, the Arch. Boat Tour you might consider taking the water taxi to Chinatown for lunch or dinner. Lots of excellent food there - especially at Little Three Happiness.
The Davoodas just had drinks at the Signature Lounge Monday - it was a clear day and the view was awesome. You get a great view of the lake and breakwaters from the foyer area where the elevators open up.
For an upscale dinner you would have to give guidelines as to cuisine, your budget and your level of adventure because Chicago offers A LOT of excellent dining options and many (if not most) of them are not near Michigan Avenue or even downtown.
Millenium Park is a nice place to see and, depending on your hotel location, probably not a super long walk.
If you want to hit some clubs, you can find out what%26#39;s ';out there'; on www.metromix.com - and be sure to ask your hotel concierge for free passes or to be added to the guest list.
Hope you have a nice time!
Davooda
